Today we are seeing some stereotypical San Diego weather after many days of chilly and rainy days. Take some time today to get out and enjoy it!
Experiencing those rainy days makes us that much more grateful for our homes and our cozy beds to sleep in at night. Our current needs list reflects the struggle that so many face here in San Diego having to be outside much more than not and having to create a hopefully safe place to sleep each night with the items they have on them.
This #GivingTuesday, if a financial gift is not practical, consider donating one of these items to Shoreline Community Services. We receive requests for these items every week at our Project Grace community meal. Be a part of the circle and help those in need be a bit warmer and drier today.
Lightweight Fleece Blankets
Waterproof Sleeping Bags
Large Heavy Duty Trash Bags
Socks and Underwear (all shapes and sizes)
*Bring items to 1561 Thomas Ave. or reach out via contact info on this site to arrange delivery*
These are the items most helpful to our guests when we see them. If you have other items to donate including nonperishable food items, please consider donating to our fellow service agency, Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA), accessed from the alley near the corner of Jewel and Garnet.
